Bikitaite is a rare zeolite occurring in only two known localities, as an alteration product of spodumene in lithium-rich pegmatite dikes. This small thumbnail features a distorted blade of Bikitaite on which is perched a few glassy clear Fairfieldites with yellow phantoms.
Locality: Foote Lithium Company Mine, Kings Mountain, Cleveland County, North Carolina
Composition: lithium tectosilicate and Ca2Mn2+(PO4)2·2H2O
