Calcite and Hemimorphite

A grouping of lustrous small calcites which formed on a matrix formed by squat compact hemimorphite sprays colored dark grey by platnerite inclusions. Some rosasite on the edges and back. Ex Jim and Paula Wilson.

Locality: Hidden Treasure Mine, Ophir Mining District, Tooele County, Utah

Composition: calcium carbonate with hydrous zinc silicate
