Calcite (Butterfly Twin)

An old time piece representing the classic “butterfly twin” form. These came out at least 25 years ago and are typically comprised of several stages of growth. The initial twin was partially coated with deep brick brown iron oxide before a second generation began to form around the original. Excellent condition!
