Calcite on Quartz

A very sculptural piece from a recent find with a complete complete doubly terminated trigonal calcite formed from stacked  lenticulated crystals on a cauliform matrix coated by druisy quartz. Stands well on its own. Very slight rub on top left and contact areas in right side from other calcite crystals (though the faces appear complete, so likely separated in situ and healed.
