Calcite on Quartz

A stout quartz crystal is coated on three sides by tan scalenohedral calcites. There is even a small sidecar reverse scepter on the “clean” side of the main quartz crystal. Classic material from one of the most famous of Colorados gold mines. Purchased in 2001 from Dave Bunk.
