Calcite with Bornite and Pyrite

A very choice and complete miniature with phantomed calcite on which both pyrite and bornite climb from the base to the termination. The label says “Old Hearst Mine”, which likely refers to the Anaconda Silver Mine part way between Butte and Frenchtown and that was developed by the father of mining, William Randolf Hearst.
