Availability: 1 in stock
From a collection accumulated in the 1980s-1990s in the Alpine deposits in the Piedmont area near Turin, this two sided specimen hosts hessonites to a full centimeter. There is a small partial blade of diopside on one side. The largest crystal has a very small rub and the opposing side has a few that were in contact with other crystals. Note that hessonites over .3cm are rare and ones reaching a full centimeter are most uncommon.
