Microcline var Amazonite

George Quist has been digging on his claim for over 20 years. Being he and his wife worked for Collectors Edge they never had time to clean and prep their material, so stored it. This year, they left the Edge and began prepping the tons of material. I saw them at the Crown Plaza in Denver and snatched up some goodies. This classic series of orthorhombic crystals has fabulous color. It is all one piece, and 99% complete. The only area contacted is the back of the main crystal, which cannot be seen on display.
