The Barger Quarry is well known for the trisooctahedral pyrites that often have a degree of iridescence to them. This specimen features a 4cm crystal that is about 330 degrees complete. The only contact is the side where it is labeled. This piece has a large central crystal with a second being the point of contact.. Ex Jack Cranford, who collected it in the 1970’s. Acquired by George Loud in 1999.
