Pyromorphite with Wulfenite

$380.00

Availability: 1 in stock

The San Francisco Mine produced many fine Wulfenite and Mimetite specimens during its heyday from the 1970s-1990s. Very little mention is given to pyromorphite, as the abundant arsenic in the mine usually resulted in mimetite. Research shows that pyromorphites were found, albeit very sparingly, and usually in small specimens. This incredible 7cm specimen is coated with army green  crystals with yellow overtones raising in prominent sprays and mounds with several butterscotch Wulfenites scattered about. A rare opportunity for the lead, Mexican, or pyromorphite collector!
