Quartz over Rhodochrosite

A very unusual specimen with scalenohedral rhodochrosites , some with rhombohedral modification to the terminations, coated with white druisy quartz. The mounds of pure white quartz druise add very nice contrast. Ex Dr. W S Logan collection.
