Quartz var Amethyst

A glassy cluster with choice deep purple color and complete in every respect. The underside has terminal faces clearly defined under a loupe. An unusual nearly tabular indentation near the top termination is clearly interference from the host rock. The termination is complete.  Contact from another crystal is present on the back face of the main crystal.
