Quartz var Amethyst on Calcite

It has been at least 25 years since the find of amethyst on well crystalized calcite was found. You don’t see them very often. This cabinet sized piece has calcites to 4cm and doubly terminated amethyst to 3,2cm. The quartz id glassy and bright. No damage.
