Rhodochrosite

A small cavitation is filled with spherules of pale pink to pinkish-white rhodochrosite on a field of white likely also Rhodochrosite within a casement of heavy iron-rich matrix. Even at 30X the surface of the spherules fails to disclose any crystalline element. One fractured spherule reveals conectric layers of progressively whiter mineralization.
