Rhodochrosite with Quartz

Availability: 1 in stock

Very unusual bright pink xls with a serpentine habit, characteristic of, and possibly unique to, this locality. Here the collections of compressed tabular crystals are forming swirls, instead of rosettes, on a slightly yellow-green drusy Quartz matrix with sprinkles of sulfides. No damage.  Quite dramatic. Ex Dr W S Logan Collection.
