A matrix of white albite hosts a flurry of Schorls along with Siderite crystals and a Siderite coating. It is likely the Siderite is altered from Rhodochrosite as the final solutions at the Foote were iron rich. A wonderful display specimen

Composition: iron-rich alkali tourmaline, iron carbonate and interconnected framework of three SiO4 and one AlO4 tetrahedra, with all oxygens shared between tetrahedra (Albite)
