Smithsonite

THe San Antonio produced smithsonites from the 8 level over a relatively long period of time. In the 1980’s several colors of micro-rhombohedral coatings were discovered including yellow, green, gray, orange and yellow. In later years (2010-2013) robins egg blue with some anglesite as well as pseudomorphs after calcite were discovered. I would assume this is an earlier piece as it is startling in its sparkling luster and the silvery/grey is delightful. Wonderful condition.
