This is an unusually colored specimen to come out of Tsumeb. Clearly, it started out as the classic salmon/pink that points to the cobalt rich variety, but the color moves to a more amber color after the initial layer. Clearly a solution composition change. There are miniscule dark brown inclusions , looking as if the specimen was peppered with oxidized ceiling dust while in solution. The matrix is sulfides (pyrite and galena). Different!
