Tenantite-Tetrahedrite and Pyrite on Dolomite

$70.00

Availability: 1 in stock

According to Moore (Moores Compendium p.493) fine dolomite crystals only came from a few places within the mine, reaching 1.5cm. The late 1970’s saw one zone of copper and silver ore producing sharp dolomites with tetrahedrite and pyrite associations. Thus I would venture the guess that these are tetrahedrites, though only testing would determine).   The fact that the dolomite is twinned further enhances its appeal. This will fit in a perky box if desired. Ex Jim and Paula Wilson.
