Eucryptite is a rare silicate mineral and it is one of very few silicate minerals that have a symmetry that is trigonal. It is part of the Phenakite group. It normally forms massively and is identified by SW, glowing bright red. Here, we have rare crystaline coverage which meets with brassy Metaswitzerite at the seam edge.
