The Skorpion Zinc Mine, located near Rosh Pinah in southern Namibia, was first mined in 1976. Operations were suspended in 2020 due to instability. Specimen quality material was fairly sparce, with the most prolific being the Tarbuttite pseudomorphs of Fluorapatite or Skorpionite. I can’t say I’ve seen many Aurichalcites from there. This one has a Quartz coating.
