Dating back to the 1956-57 time period, this specimen came to light while work was being completed on the DeWet shaft. Mining had reached around the 20th level. The Azurites predominantly came from the first oxidation zone around the 7-10 level. This wonderful specimen has super bright luster. Its termination growth was impeded, but the crystal is complete. It exhibits that incredible electric blue color when backlit.
