Beryl in Smoky Quartz on Feldspar

This specimen is documented as being obtained by John Betts from Amos Cunningham , eventually finding its way into the George Loud collection. The 2cm crystal is bent from three distinct fracture and infill lines, providing visual homage to the geologic forces it encountered over time. It sits on a smoky quartz protrusion from a feldspar host rock.
