Bikitaite and Fluorapatite

Bikitaite is a rare zeolite occurring in only two known localities, as an alteration product of spodumene in lithium-rich pegmatite dikes. This miniature features a mound of joined Fluorapatite crystals (partial druise) with fine architectural bitikaite blades.
Locality: Foote Lithium Company Mine, Kings Mountain, Cleveland County, North Carolina
Composition: lithium tectosilicate and calcium fluorophosphate
