These honey/cognac colored satiny crystals with unique and distinctive morphology came out in the early 1990s when a pocket was found in this limestone quarry. Later finds in 2000 and then 2007 produced a range of different colors and habits. All of these were very rapidly absorbed into the market and are seldom seen today. This specimen glows golden and the feathery surfaces and configuration remind me of an angel. Later stage growth fully populated the back with smaller scalenes.
