Calcite

The North Vernon calcites have become a must have in any calcite, USA, carbonate, or mid-west collection. They are known to have vitreous luster and a particular “rounding” appearance. This single twinned crystal has it all. One tiny area on one side towards the back has a surficial “blemish”, which is a chalky discoloration.  Otherwise perfect. A good one for sure.
