Copper in Dolomite with Conichalcite(?)

$60.00

Availability: 1 in stock

Dating back to the 1956-57 time period, this specimen came to light while work was being completed on the DeWet shaft. Mining had reached around the 20th level. Copper was prevalent during this period. This is a lovely combination of copper imbued within a dolomite structure enhanced with small balls of what appear to be Conichalcite but could be any number of secondary copper minerals..  Ex Ben Chomiak collection.
