Covellite

Covellites from Summitville have always been compared to the famous Covellites from Butte but are far less available. Crystallized Covellite is quite rare as there were only three locations that ever were good sources, and even at those sites it was still rare. Here, iridescent, thin metallic covellite blades with brassiness and flashes of blue are wonderfully defined with minimal damage. Really a stunner. Ex Jim and Paula Wilson
