Fairfieldite with Fluorapatite

Fairfieldite from the Foote takes many forms, and one could aspire to have a collection of just Fairfieldite. The texture can be opaque, and chalky or supremely lustrous, clear, yellow or pink. This piece has a superb cluster of fine acicular crystals forming a light pink rosette. A series of fluorapatites bisect the specimen and have micro-pyrites amongst and on them. A perfectly centered and balanced specimen.
