Fluor-apatite

This one was a real find. The color threw me, as the only ones I’ve seen from the locality were pale purple. After consulting with a few experts on German minerals I was informed that it is a very rare color for this type locality mine. The main hexagonal crystal is glassy and transluscent, with a deep greenish amber color. It does fit nicely in a thumbnail box so would be a fabulous addition to a German, apatite, or Thumbnail collection. Ex Roger Maynard.
