Grossular var Hessonite with Chlinochlore

From a collection accumulated in the 1980s-1990s in the Alpine deposits in the Piedmont area near Turin. A superb glassy cluster of hessonites reaching 1.1cm surrounding a .7cm chlinochlore book. No damage. Sawn at the base. Note that crystals over .3cm in size were rare.
