Malachite on Cuprite

These coated cuprites are icons of the collecting world as they can reach the size of a small peach and retain the hexoctahedral form with a thin coating of malachite. This is a smaller one and reveals the cuprite at the bottom and half of one side. The cuprite retains its bright red color when backlit. Ex Jim and Paula Wilson.
