George Loud purchased this specimen in 1997 from Carter Rich. Carter had gotten it in a lot of de-aquisitions from Steven Chamberlain, who was selling off his personal collection. Steve had gotten it from the George and Susan Robinson collection, The Robinsons had originally purchased it in Tucson 1975. How’s THAT for a historical chain?
