Specimens from the Sherman were mostly found at the 1500 and 1700 level and 1730 raise. An earthquake in 1959 closed the mine from the 1500-1750 levels. Further, a cave-in in 1973 made all of the mine inaccessible. The specimen comes with an old hand written A.L Kidwell collection label. Excellent condition and a great find for the lead mineral collector.
