Rhodochrosite

Rhodochrosite crystals are scattered liberally across all surfaces of the highly 3-dimensional Limonite/copper gossan matrix. The crystals, range to 3mm but are generally much smaller. They have a satin luster and are occasionally doubly terminated. One isolated crystal is cleaved. many tiny spherules of light green malachite are sprinkled against the dark matrix and in at least one case in the center of the display face cover a small sheet of native Copper. very good condition.
