The Diamond Hill Mine is best known for its quartz varieties including milky, smoky and amethyst. It is a 3 acre site primarily open to the public for collecting. This particular specimen is coated with Romanechite, of which the bubbly composition contrasting with the exposed milky quartz crystals provides a stunning example. Previously in the Bill Kohout and George Loud collections.
