The Dunton Gem Quarry produced its first crystals in 1927. It was the second mine to produce rose quartz crystals in the world. Some fine tourmalines have come from there. This specimen contains partial blue crystals in a tightly compacted matrix. Loupe study reveals many crystal faces embedded within. Purchaced by Terrence Thompson in 04/99
