Hexagonite is the ultra-rare manganoan-rich variety of tremolite and is distinguished by its lilac to purple color. It is only found in two counties in New York. This specimen is comprised of opaque to gemmy slender striated deeply lavender crystals. Purchased by Terrence Thompson in 8/76.
