Zoisite was first discovered in the Saualpe Mountains of Carinthia, Austria in 1805.  An old specimen with an aged Harvard Museum label featuring a large ( 5.5cm) composite of crystals on one side and multiple other, smaller crystals on both the front and the back. Classic material.
