Selenite on Halite

These orange Selenites on Halite came out around 25 years ago. Like most finds, they were readily available for a time, but the bright orange color harkened to the collectors who readily snatched them up. This piece is remarkable. The main blade is 4.5cm and much gemmier than we usually saw. The Halite is an accompaniment as it is nearly complete and features prominent growth faces. A bargain here.

Locality: Salinas de Otuma, Paracas, Pisco Province, Peru
