A large fairly flat matrix coated with a centimeter thick layer of prehnite which is surficially populated by lovely apophyllites to 1.6cm. Collected by John Medici in 1967 and ex Jon Ertman and George Loud.
Locality: Centreville Quarry, Fairfax County, Virginia
Composition: potassium-calcium fluoride-silicate and calcium aluminum inosilicate
