Austinite with Adamite

This piece is all about presentation. On the typical gossan Ojuela matrix rests a layer of iron stained bubbly goethite on which an aggregation of lemon yellow adamites formed. On the adamites, perched like a bird on a branch, is a 1cm radial cluster of opaque (and relatively rare) austinite. If not for two contact points with the adamites this would be a world class miniature. Instead, it is a damn fine display specimen at a bargain price!
