In October 2018 a new find in Mexico yielded some extraordinary chisel shaped crystal clusters of barite. The largest single crystal we saw was 3.2cm, but the bulk ran in the 1-2cm range. Depending on where they were found in the pocket some were bluish grey while others were more golden grey. We bought most of the lot, and are not aware of any later finds to date. This specimen is in excellent condition with crystals in the .9-1.3cm range. They are densly grouped and similarly oriented. Very glassy surfaces have this one sparkling in daylight.
