Barite on Dolomite

This mine produced very fine barites over a 10 year period. They varied in color and crystal size from grey to bluish to tan and yellow. The largest crystals were in the tan range, and they were also thicker. This specimen has dozens of clustered near gem sharp crystals to over 2cm. Their bluish grey color contrasts beautifully with the salmon colored Dolomites. All crystal are clean. Ex Mike Wortham
