A spectacular nearly 4cm gem prismatic crystal centers this specimen. Compositionally it is situated on a conchoidal hematitic shell. The small crystals in contact with the matrix are deeply iron stained. The truncated crystal to the right must have broken in situ but is fully healed with striated faces. Ex Lloyd Tate and ex Kenny Gay collections.
