Calcite on Dolomite

Calcite specimens from the Treves Mine (closed in 1975)  were highly regarded in their day. They have a jewel-like appearance and the manner in which they set up from the matrix is splendid. Below them are phantomed, clear dolomite crystals with what is likely marcasite. Purchased in 2001 from the Mineral Gallery.
