Calcite on Quartz

Originally purchased from M Phantom Minerals (label included) for $15 in 1994, this choice piece is from an obscure stone quarry that only produced limited vugs of celestite and calcite with most crystals in the 2-4cm size. This doubly terminated pale scalene rests on a shard of quartz. It was originally in the Joe Kielbaso collection and it is likely he self collected it. Ex Kenny Gay collection.
