Calcite with Mesolite
$350.00
Availability: 1 in stock
These specimens hit the market last year commanding large premiums, as they came from a one time find of the “moldy raspberry” pocket. Their striking red color is unmatched in calcites and usually reserved for Rhodochrosites. In this case the colorant is believed to be iron. This specimen sports 2cm rhombohedral crystals accompanied by salmony mesolite. I have priced this one to sell!
