The Chino Mine began operating in 1911 and is still operating today. It had previously been worked by the colonial Spanish in the late 18th century and is considered one of the oldest collecting sites in North America. This specimen has flattened masses of dendritic crystal aggregates. Many crystal habits on display with this one. Stands perfectly with no assist. Ex Mike Wortham
