Covellite was found in this locale in the 19th century Classic clusters were found in the early 20th century and when the Reynolds Tunnel was worked in the 1970s. Later, fine specimens were discovered in the Galactic open pit. This is a choice example exhibiting the bladed masses and peacock colors. Ex Mike Wortham
